FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a high school robotics competition organized by FIRST, an international nonprofit organization that encourages kids of all ages to participate in STEM-related activities. FTC teams are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. Through building 18” by 18” by 18” robots, we get hands-on, real-world experience with mechanical design, computer science, and business management.
